ROMOLD, Inc. has been a precision manufacturer in the Rochester, New York area since 1997. A strong work ethic, ingenuity, and high standards for quality helped ROMOLD to build a solid reputation. Even before receiving ISO 9001:2008 certification of our Quality Management System, our goal has been to clearly understand, manufacture and deliver all of the manufacturing requirements of our customers.
 

Precision Plastic Injection Mold Design

We design and manufacture custom molds for plastic injection using CAD-CAM software, including SolidWorks, MasterCam, and Cimatron. We focus on close tolerance machining using advanced CNC milling techniques, EDM equipment, and the exceptional skills and creativity of our team of employees.

Plastic Injection / Die Cast Mold Manufacturing Facility

Our 11,500-square-foot facility is located in the western Rochester NY suburb of Gates conveniently accessible to Route 490. We maintain and continually upgrade our state-of-the-art equipment.

We serve customers across the United States and globally. Industries that we serve include optical, office and imaging equipment, medical devices, aeronautical, automotive, packaging, sporting goods, consumer products, and US Department of Defense. We are ITAR registered.

Our online Quality Management System is based on actual activities at ROMOLD and provides us with a basic structure, allowing us to better focus on meeting each customer’s unique requirements. Industry Education and Outreach

ROMOLD maintains its pro-active efforts in education to bring interested students into the field of high-tech manufacturing. Because there is a shortage of skilled labor in our industry, we work with the local school districts to arrange student tours so that students can realize the career options open in our industry. We sponsor students at the high school level in robotics programs and participate in job fairs, apprentice contests, and adult students looking for a career change. ROMOLD enrolls apprentice mold-makers into the NY State Department of Labor-certified training program and offers on the job training.
